Auto Renewal of manufacturer/dealer/repairer license

  Legal Metrology Organization, Maharashtra renews the issued Licenses based on the validity. Existing licensee has to apply only online for Auto Renewal using their respective login credentials within notified period.

Login

(a) Procedure To Obtain The Requested License Is As Follow:
     1. Login With Valid Login Credentials to application
     2. Click on 'Apply For Renewal of Manufacturer License' link
     3. Fill In The Online Application Form
       3a. Upload your passport size photograph in JPG or PNG format.
       3b. Upload your hand signature in JPG or PNG format.(10kb-20kb)
     4. Upload The Required Documents
     5. Click On Preview Button To Verify & Confirm The Application Form
     6. Submit The Application
     7. Click On Preview To Get The Printout Of Submitted Application Form
     8. Concerned Inspecting Officer will visit the location for spot inspection
     9. Submit Self Attested Photocopies Of Uploaded Documents & Application Form to Inspecting Officer
     10. If Everything Is Correct, The Inspecting Officer Will Send The Application To Issuing Authority
     11.Once Controller Approves The License Validity, an alert message will be sent to registered mobile number & a notification will be sent
     to make payment for approved validity period
     12.Make the payment through GRAS Challan itself. Once payment is done, applicant need to upload the Challan in respective login under
     Notification Link or ‘Upload Document’ tab in filled application
     13. Once The Application Is Approved, The Electronic Copy Of License Can Be Downloaded In Respective Applicant Login

(a) Documents to be submitted for requested license is as follow:

Self attested mandatory documents list for renewal of Manufacturer license

  1. Copy of valid licence issued/ renewed.
  2. Certificate of registration of industry/registration under Shops and Establishments Act/ NOC from grampanchayat
  3. Authenticated document regarding Proprietorship /Registered partnership deed/ memorandum of association and articles of association along with list of directors.
  4. Premises - ownership  documents/ registered rent or leave license agreement or lease agreement NOC from the owner / NOC of the member if the premises is owned by family member.
  5. Verification certificate of test weight or measure
  6. Copy of income tax return
  7. Copy of receipt of profession tax paid
  8. Educational qualification certificate of the applicant/qualified person
  9. Self declaration  about whether any   offence is  pending  against him  in  court or  police  station
  10. Self declaration about whether the Applicant has violated any of the provisions of Legal Metrology Act, 2009 or rules made there under.
  11. Latest electricity bill.


(c) Payment mode for requested license is as follow: (Amount: Rs. 5000/- Per Year)
     1. Through GRAS
           a) Visit the GRAS website (https://gras.mahakosh.gov.in/echallan/)
           b) Login to website if you have registered or else click on ‘Pay Without Registration’ tab
           c) Enter the Department name (Controller Of Legal Metrology) in provided text box and click on ‘Submit’ button
           d) Fill up the form with necessary data and click on ‘Submit’ button
           e) Make the payment and save the Challan Number & Date for future reference

Whether  latest electricity bill  is  verified and found correct

Particulars of weight or measure sold within the state or outside the state or both.

Details of production and sales in the last 5 years.

Whether the Applicant has filed Income Tax return.

Whether the licence was under suspension after issue/ renewal. if yes, give details

Whether  test weight or measure  as per list is  physically verified and found correct.  If yes, give verification certificate number, date and validity.
